Programme format and arrangements

The following chart indicates in what way the programme is managed, conducted and also to what extent the learner is involved. A chart cannot indicate all the qualification complexities but we hope the following offers help in choosing the right qualification.

Will learners conduct homework or work-based assignments?

Yes, we provide workbooks to learners which include essential reading materials and optional work-based tasks.

How do learners gain a full understanding of the support mechanisms and associated procedures?

This is conduced and achieved by our issuing of an induction pack. This takes the form of a workbook that learners read prior to course attendance, and the completion and return of some administrative forms to us.

What is the format of the assessment?

A series of assessment papers are issued to learners during the tuition programme. These consist of work-related tasks and tasks that ensure learners can demonstrate the applicability of their new knowledge.

When are assessment papers issued?

Assessment papers for mandatory units are issued following the associated tuition sessions.

Assessment papers for optional units are issued when the learner has requested them in accordance with an arranged assessment plan
