Main features of the qualification and the learning style

"What are the main features of these qualifications?"

  • Blue-Eye Training offers the Level 5 Certificate qualification to those with prior L4 experience in FM or similar discipline, including the BIFM part 1 examinations. (Diploma available on a top-up basis upon completion of the Certificate)
  • Programme follows a set study schedule comprising five blocks of three months (total programme duration is typically 15 months). Rolling programme allows flexible start dates
  • Summative assessment will be based on the five mandatory units and five additional units
  • Study is by conducting set coursework to encourage use of applied knowledge
  • Reflective workshops (in Newbury, Berkshire) bring learners together to discuss coursework, review current issues, receive topic updates, preparing learners for the unit assessments
  • Each block of study will culminate in assessment of two units, enabling the learner to gain sufficient credits in relevant topics
  • Learners are able to apply their knowledge to their own workplace, a requirement for the Level 5 assessments
  • Summative assessment is via workplace assignment(s) - each unit assessment must be completed during a 28 day assessment period, as set by the Awarding Organisation, (BIFM)
  • Email, telephone and website support from expert tutor(s) given throughout the programme
  • Recognisable prior learning of similar qualifications could lead to study exemption
  • Discounts available to those who have completed BIFM Part I or Level 4 qualifications if studied with Blue-Eye Training
